Link Postalmate to Test Environment

During training or testing of new features from Brinkman in the Postalmate™ application, the easiest solution is to modify your local “hosts” file to point the gateway.bfc-usa.com IP address to the BFC test environment. You will need to have administrator rights to modify this system file.

Open Notepad with Administrator rights (right-click on the notepad application from the start menu and select Run as Administrator).

Next, open the “hosts” file found in the “c:\windows\system32\drivers\etc\” directory.

Now, add a line with 216.145.118.247 (gatewaycert.bfc-usa.com IP address can be found using ping gatewaycert.bfc-usa.com if it changes in the future). Lines that start with a “#” are comments and can be added to aid the future of the file.

Once complete, restart any applications and then try to re-connect to the BFC Gateway system with the CERT credentials you have for testing purposes.
